Ran the ISO set up but it hung on getting ready to install so got rid, I'll wait for the update.

Don't know if it checks for Win 10, but it will already know if your version of windows is real or not, I presume.  |

Downloaded the 'fix' from here Win10_fixRan the script and got the icon immediately. It takes a moment or two to check that you have the necessary kb updates, then gives you the icon in the taskbar. |

I didn't know about the fix, 10 ain't out and there are fixes, I hope its not a vision of what 10 is going to be like.

That's why its going on the Lappy and not the main PC, just checked for updates on the Lappy, a message comes up "windows 10 reserved we will let you know when its available to download." M$ are getting inside the machines.  |
