Damned shame about the Rotherham seats, missed out being council controller by one seat, still an excellent result though

I had to larf earlier, they were showing some new UKIP councillors celebrating at the polling station, one of them was a Sikh fella wearing the brightest purple turban imaginable. Probably found it hiding in his racist closet eh?

IT COULDN'T BE DONE.
Somebody said that it couldn’t be done, But, Nige with a chuckle replied That "maybe it couldn’t," but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So Nige buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. Nige started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it.
Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you’ll never do that; At least no one has done it"; But Nige took off his coat and he took off his hat, And the first thing we knew he’d begun it. With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin, Without any doubting or quiddit, Nige started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it.

Hmmmm...it seems that UKIP isn't doing so well in Londonistan, probably won't get much support in either Bradfordamabad or Leicesterahore either. Damned if I can work out why!

I noticed yesterday and today that the BBC's political editor Nick Robinson was wearing a bright purple tie. Another convert perhaps.... I like this headline..

''People are dissolusioned with the 3 parties, who don't seem to know what is going on in their lives, that is why people are turning to UKIP and we have to do something about it'' just stated by Haridan Harman to Dimbleby...It's overpowering innit the rhetoric these mp's come up with.

It's people like her, along with her old man, that give politicians a bad name. They couldn't lie straight in bed!
