Trouble is, most can't see the wood for the trees or else they fall short of getting off their arses and going to vote!! addie I think you've got that wrong. UKIP success counts on the average voter not getting off their ass and going to vote. Minority parties pray for a low turnout Worse than what Addie? The UK has done OK under, two not three, main parties for decades so why now do you say they've had their chances? In the short term only Labour have had their chances but you don't mention that. The Tories haven't been in power since 1997 so when in their recent history have they had their chances. In my opinion UKIP reached their zenith in Newark and their future is dwindling before their very eyes Listen to yourself Peter.....You sound just like Cameron with his unshakeable belief that he knows best and what he says is right!

RATARSE TO SAVE YOU THE BOTHER IT IS MORE OF THE SAME SO ON YOUR BIKE Listen to yourself Peter.....You sound just like Cameron with his unshakeable belief that he knows best and what he says is right! addie that's what happens to PMs when they've got the the majority of an elected Parliament supporting them. Can you name me 1 PM that acted differently? Here is today's Telegraph headline www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/10904177/Political-class-ignore-strength-of-feeling-on-immigration-at-their-peril.htmlHaving read the article it just makes you wonder why UKIP isn't winning every by-election because it appears to be doing what the majority of the public want. If 80% of the public want tighter immigration controls why has the UKIP no seats in parliament Still no seats in the Commons “For example, EU rules make it very hard for the government to restrict migrant numbers, or regulate migrant access to the welfare state, in accordance with the wishes of most of the public.” Why is the British public not voting for the UKIP party at every opportunity? In my opinion the electorate agrees with the UKIP's objective but doesn't believe pulling out of the EU is the only way to get our domestic government back in parliament's control. Why else is the UKIP party still looking for a 1st seat in the Commons?

If there has, why didn't one of you ratbags tell me, and anyway, in this general election that I've missed, how is it that UKIP didn't win any seats? Nobody tells me owt!!!! BTW Smudger, I'd love to get on my bike, but atm my consultant won't let me.

Jazus, has there been a general election while I've been looking t'other way, Rararse stop pretending you're stupid because you are a crap actor. There has been 15 by-elections held in England during this Parliament and going by the way the public polls results are presented in the Telegraph it seems amazing the UKIP party didn't win at least one of them. That brings me back to the point that both the General public and Farage, in the long run, want the same thing but the voters somehow don't see eye to eye with UKIP on how to get there. Is my above paragraph not a realistic way of looking at the things that have happened in politics recently and if you disagree tell me why the UKIP have nothing show for it except an increase in votes. This is only good if you win something that really matters and not by winning seats in an establishment you want to leave. And they call the Irish stupid.

Maybe now they can afford to. Newark is the only one I can think of and it was always going to be tory but UKIP gave a good show.

How dare you, crap actor indeed! Smudger, I'll have you know that the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon prats like you with great vengeance and furious anger when they attempt to poison and destroy my fine name by crap spelling.
