Wait until the Islamic's for Alla Party take over, with the first Islamic Prime Minister of Britain proclaiming the abandamant of the British and EU Laws and replacing them with Sharia-Law. This could happen in less than 30years if we just sit back and ignore it. You have been warned

Peter,FFS........... ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPENPhil you're not really being uncertain about this are you? The results of the EU elections seem throw doubt on your "It's not going happen" proclamation. I hope you'll be as quick to acknowledge me when I can write Phil I told you so. It's not going to happen with Cameron at the helm, he's all talk and no action.

Harrumph! Let's nail this bollox that Smudger spouts once and for all. Smudger gives the impression, that all Posh Dave needs to do, is rock up to the commission and demand a few treaty changes that suit the UK, which I remind you, was not even one of the original signatories to the treaty. Well, here are the FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES on which the EU is founded/ THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES
Article I-4 of the Constitution guarantees the free movement of persons, goods, services and capital within the Union (the famous "four freedoms") and strictly prohibits any discrimination on grounds of nationality.
Assuming (I know it's a stretch) that Smudger knows what "the free movement" means, HTF can anyone belief that the other members are gonna scrap one of the 'FUNDAMENTAL' principles of the union, just to appease us? Smudger....it ain't gonna happen, never, no way, not anyhow!

You've made that difficult David by explaining it in too many words, it has to be simpler than that

You've made that difficult David by explaining it in too many words, it has to be simpler than that Guys I know it'll be a hell of a fight to reform the FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES on which the EU is founded but that happened 50 odd years ago and there have been major economic and population changes since the TREATY of ROME was drawn up. Owing to these changes and the growing support for both extreme left an right wing anti EU parties in the member states only brain dead MEPs would say ignore it and it will go away. The leaders know if they do nothing to try to heal the soon to be rift the present EU will slowly disintegrate. Why can our drinkers not see that we don't have to leave the EU to get all our powers back because if the EU is to survive as a trading market it will have to tie the Brussels parliament into dealing only with EU affairs and then handing back to their members all the powers they stole and let each country govern it's self which I suppose is the death knell for the euro as we know it today. Ratarse for the record much and all as I think Cameron is an "EU" supporter that in my opinion would not outweigh his wanting the UK to be in charge of it's own national government and how you think differently surprises me. Can you see any Tory government "selling" the UK en bloc to foreign powers?

Geoff there's every possibility UKIP will win it because it is a by-election and that's always a good place for protest votes and if they do win it then all that will do is remind the 2 main parties of what the EU elections did and tell them they must get the UK's powers back from Brussels.

If not stop linking the 2 the in context you're implying.

It's all out between Nige and that French tart to get as many Euro sceptics to join a political group. Even though UKIP have said they won't join with the French far right, the Frogs have put a free trade ban with the Yanks on their agenda tinyurl.com/nutzsa8
