It was all a paper tiger nob- "sound and fury, signifying nothing", but it sent a message across putin's bow. The trouble is given the rooskie's track record at Salisbury and with walking sticks, yer Wagner man now has a roundel parked on his bum.

A dead man walking Steve as they say. The odd bit of polonium-210 in the tea also.

Largest ever numbers of white water rafters, and Legionaires has been identified in water on board the floating "hotel".
On The Home Service just now, bigger boats are being deployed which explains the increase in numbers, but it also points a finger at the French because larger vessels should be easier to keep track of. Certainly they would have no difficulty in charging taxes, harbour fees, licences and so on.
El presidenté (I cannot spell Macron/m) you are piloting a ship of arrogant wilful fools. Take your free movement principles and go make it uncomfortable to sit.

700+ came tother day on 4 boats, I just hope they don't make us take them into our homes because the county has nowhere to put them.

Germy Hunt confirms National Living Wage (I suppose that's the same as Minimum Wage?) is to go up to £11 per hour.
Someone remind that Tw4t that it's considerably higher than the Old Aged Pension that they begrudge us, and even more than if you have a full SERPS record.
Remind me- what did I have my wages syphoned off for over the last 50-odd years?

But they wont pay it the employers will and it will be passed to the consumer assuming its shops or cafes. Political suicide mess with the pension. Is the last leg of HS2 getting scrapped today. What a waste of money that is.

HS2? That was always a sh1tfest. So what if you can shave 17% (or whatever it is) off the railway journey time, it'll probably cost at least £150-odd for a return. Train- car -train - car- train- CAR IT IS!!! I can fill up my VW Bus with diesel for less than £100 and it'll do around 550 miles, door to door (no cabs) with all the stuff I want chucked in the back as well as the dog, and I get local transport thrown in wherever I travel to as a bonus. The whole thing was always pointless.
"Levelling up"? What about levelling up for the Welsh and the Cornish and every other wannabee microstate with their own axe to grind? "Ooh- let's invest in The UK- they've built a railway that runs from Euston to where? twenty minutes faster than it used to do".
Was HS2 a Bliar initiative? I can't imagine the tories willingly spending that freely.

Soonwhack should have made Doris Karlof Home Secretary. Even if he'd had a common sense hemorrhage and installed the 'pottamus in that seat, no one would care much less notice. What a total meltdown pile of ordure.
"Law 'n' order"~ "safe hands on the economy" ~ "border control"? I don't need to tell ya. Just keep the faith.
