Oh gawd 'ere he goes again!
I'm waiting to see how the tories will spin it next time round as in "the economy safe in our hands", "the only party that can get brexit done" and "take back control of our borders" yadda yadda yadda blended in with double-figure inflation at whatever it is this week. They'll find a way though you can be sure of that.
Despite the unplumbed depth of his unbridled arrogance, quasi will surely (and no doubt advisedly) adopt a personna non-gratis stance? If the other lot get in even with Diane in the frame, you have to question their power focused motives too because who is leaving whom a galactic debt on top of a Winter of Discontent this time?
Remember the 1980s Truck Acts and the updated qualifying vote percentages of a few years ago too? Well now they're on course to screw folks into the ground still further and make it effectively impossible in law to do anything at all to support industrial arguments. This is an abuse of power in a so-called democracy. Stinking shyte heads. I am ashamed to have been a Con Club member these last 45 years, truly I am.
What did it actually take for nurses to strike? "We cannot afford 19%". No- but you sure can force those nurses to afford it for you by funding your own beyond stupid economic meltdowns by way of inflation drowning offers can't you? And after thirteen years of austerity too? You know it's correct to say that chucking money at the problem still leaves the nurses grossly over worked and under staffed, but to focus on throwing 19% into the ring and managing the level of discussion about infrastructure at the same time is nothing short of disgusting. They think they're so clever. They think no one sees through it? Well they know folks do but they make the most of all the unquestioning lemmings at the gravy stroke of the pencil.
Where are all those triumphant smirks at liebore's electoral trouncing and Corbyn's public evisceration, primarily based upon promulgated même lies? "You've all gone quiet over there." Funny that.
What I shall find fascinating is the voters' returns in the Geordie Boroughs that proved so decisive in setting us along our current trajectory and eschewed their habit based roots for a brave new world of hope entwined in some fanciful idea of "Levelling Up". Jam tommorra bonnie lad.
Nurse-shafting tory slime bags led by an out of touch cash stuffed unelected Teflon wraith.
(Yes I know we elect parties and not talking heads.)
That was a party political broadcast on behalf of the Daft Silly Softee Southerner Hippie Party, because in a democracy, "someone 'as ta".

I see they are removing homeless from hotels to make way for dingy divers. This country is losing the plot.

We don't get a choice (until the next election that is). They can shovel whomsoever they like into the big chair. We (are supposed to) vote for parties- Party politics. That BoJo euphoria has evaporated without trace. We had cake. Some of us.

Ah the BoJo gambit of papering over the gaping cracks with a fresh mandate. Look how that panned out. I suspect an election is coming sooner rather than later what with the slippery eel offering a "round the world trip in a rowing boat" as a new improved conservative vision ATM. I imagine he has been inspired metaphorically by the dogged determination of the coracle conga?

Interesting to listen to blue tinged talking heads ont' wireless holding forth with the rhetoric about how "we" simply cannot afford such high public sector wage claims because it just fuels inflation. Of course it does- we're not idiots, but that fiasco last year is being paid for by the people who are making the claims.
Where's the responsibility shouldering? Where's the effin' contrition? Imagine a completely unlikely scenario wherein Corbyn had succeeded, all the slings and arrows would be volleying in the Left's direction, but they aren't. Fish 'n' chip paper. From Hero to Zero in a couple of brisk years. Oh how they all gloated back then? Pfft. With the benefit of hindsight, reckon it was worth it? Just add up what's been dumped in everyone's lap.
Don't forget that all the small businesses that screwed the system during the Covid bailout were frankly unlikely to be Corbyn supporters, and who is funding that furlough cash hemorrhage now?
Anyone fancy a cruise on the Tory Canyon? You'll be fine if like all yer smug self-servative Reesmogz you can afford to pay for a lifebelt. Guess who'll already be in the lifeboats- all the usual slimebags, not least Truss and Kwarteng pushing you out to tread water?

"Careful who you vote for".
AgeUK are continually lobbying and running mass registration of opinion surveys about this and other issues such as pensioner energy bills.
Consider this: All financial institutions report to the Treasury as part of the money laundering controls regime. Therefore they know all about the hard earned savings of the various demographics. By extension, the slime-sucking pieces of sh1t know exactly where to go for easy targets to plug fiscal gaps of their own making. This is "nudge" politics; threaten, withdraw, threaten, withdraw and then eventually- attack! That türd Kharthoum had better not raise his smug physog anywhere around here because I'll give him "both barrels" of my own rhetoric, not that he'd give a toss. As I keep on and on saying- careful what you wish for.
"You're not-singing, you're not-singing, you're not singing any m-o-r-e, you're not si-in-inging any more.'

Who's running this country, time we got people who can do their job.
"Europeans refused the right to remain in the UK after Brexit were mistakenly paid benefits, it emerged last month. A Home Office blunder meant some of the 141,000 people refused EU Settled Status received cash - despite being ineligible.
After telling the applicants they had been unsuccessful officials did not then update their visas database, it is alleged.
This meant those applications were still considered "pending" and the EU citizens were able to claim."
