Ukraine wants our fighter jets Boris said send 100, we have 130 Typhoons, 101 of which are in service, and 30 F-35Bs, all but one of which are in service. This means the RAF has a total of 130 active fighter jets. That would leave us 30 if Putin comes.

Wake up Boris FFS.
If we sent even so many as one, how long before an inexperienced pilot gets to play with what is it? 130 millions worth of high tech, how long before (s)he is shot down and the rooskies get to faff around with it?
How many do you reckon Uncle Sam will send? Or those all-time great heros the frogs?
You don't need to be a statesman to work that out you numpty buffoon. Back off before you really cattle-truck everything.

Yep If I was one of those boat people the safest place would be under the white flag of France.

I now hear the Home office are buying RAF Scampton to house thousands of them, that's Lincolnshire a very unsafe place to be.

Since they will be processed as asylum seekers (whatever their actual status really is) then they will not be afforded the right to sally forth without let or hindrance (and rightly so IMO.) Therefore a re-purposed military camp will effectively become tantamount to an open prison, and the human rights brigade and associated gravy train lawyers will become vocal about that. Heads they win, tails we lose. "for it is written ..."

On The Home Service today, an interview with some matey. Upon being asked why if he was so in fear of his life as he stated did he not seek sanctuary in one of the other EU states he'd travelled through. "Because I was in fear of my life and I don't speak the language(s) so I see no future for myself there" he replied. The inference is clear; not parleying the lingo is sufficient cause to sail forth on something barely better than an inflatable pedalo in the busiest shipping lane in the world because you can't or won't learn frog or hun or whatever. Now, your scribe has always been one of the more tolerant ones who HAS thought of a great many immigrants and indeed second (and up) generation incomers as friend, and be under no misapprehension will continue to judge folk on merit and what they say or do. However, it was all working fine and dandy when we were talking sensible numbers (whatever that is), but Dear Drooper- I'm being taxed to fund this charade and I've had it with listening to all this BS.
Folks, we're heading for an election budget ATM ...Is it only me that sees the coincidence when we are paying out millions to put up this cavalcade in commandeered hotels and guest houses, whilst weighing up The Triple Lock when so many pensioners are in fuel poverty as we speak at the same time?

They are standing outside schools shouting at the young girls. These are the ones that are coming, "An Afghan migrant who just days ago tried to board a small boat to the UK had already been deported from England after raping a schoolgirl. Emal Kochai was jailed in 2014 after being found guilty of raping a 12-year-old girl in Reading, Berkshire, and was returned to Afghanistan in 2019 having served half of his nine-year sentence. But the 28-year-old is now living in a French migrant camp waiting for his chance to board a small boat back to the UK."

Residents and people who love Britain are fighting hard to keep the dingy divers from being housed at the RAF Scampton base, 15,000 they want there, with a population of 12,000 locals. Guy must be spinning.

Poor old Brandon, confusing the All Blacks with the black and Tans in his Irish speech.

There's no shortage of armchair "me too" Patricks over there nob. You should see the sea of green in the streets on Paddy's Day. I myself was viciously taken to task by some scrawny be-whiskered little old woman collecting small change "for de boys" while I was queueing to get into The Empire State Building in the 1980s. As soon as she heard my accent when I declined her tempting offer of fealty to The Cause, it was daggers at dawn. Then The Two Towers Tumbled and 'Murica had a taste of what terrorism does on their own patch, and to some extent it was "it's all gone quiet over there" (sing when you're winning etc).
Perhaps Sleepy Joe kipped throughout that attrocity and still thinks he's a heritage card carrying Mick-o-phile. Sorry Mr. B but you're pathetic. You should cease interfering in local negotiations by way of thinly veiled implied threats regarding UK/US trade deals.

Sleepy Joe gaffs again. Jayzus, "the leader of the free world"? What a useless phuckwit. He's La Trumpster's get out of jail free card to get in again.
