Roy. Have you tried talking to BT, cos the last time I had to a, lightnig strike took out over 2000 phones in Cornwall mine being one of them, but it did'nt affect the fibre optic BB which I am on. I ended up having a chat with a burd in India which is where the call centre is. She could have not been more helpfull, anyway engineer boked and first in line box duly put right. He told me that they had to put extra cover on cos of the lightning taking out so meny boxes. Might be worth a try. Then ask them about changing mail address but do not copy anything from your old account. Set up from scratch.

It might be BT with the problem. I received 2 emails from you last year, and today I have received 1 from one of my wife's friends.

But I don`t think this is a line problem because I have change to fibre in the last two months.

Bob, I can only apologise, I had your email address when you had that hard drive, I deleted all of the Email address that are no longer used yesterday, yours was one of them. So I would be grateful if you can tell me if you have further emails from me in the future. As I said in a previous post, Fletch could also have been vulnerable in the past.

I think your old account may have been hacked. In that position I would set up a separate account with BT and also an account with a web based supplier such as hotmail or g mail.

I have gone through my sent folder all the way to June 2013 and I do not have any silly emails recorded as sent.

I have found this in my sent folder. Its my cousin emailing me about an email sent to him that I new nothing about. I have blacked out part for obvious reasons. The last part is the content of the email I supposedly sent to my cousin
