When did you last watch a You Tube or any other type of video? I have just installed a Chrome add-on called "Turn off the Lights". This means when I view any kind of video and click on the tiny icon at the rt top corner of the screen, everything else other than the video goes dark, leaving you to concentrate on the clip and not be distracted. chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/turn-off-the-lights/bfbmjmiodbnnpllbbbfblcplfjjepjdn?hl=enJust had a thought, maybe those people over on the ipad forum ditched me as I appeared to be spamming (in their eyes) when all I was doing, was enlightening/informing. |

I wish I could answer that Colin,but to get back on that other site I would think you need to change your email address for that site.

What about changing your usename & email address fo that site and re-registering again.
Either that or abandon all hope of joining that site.

It is locked on a page showing me as on-line, with a message waiting to be read, but the "official" ip address banned words are on screen. There isn't an access route to re-register. If for example I went to the library, used their computer, re-joined with different user name and different email address, no doubt I'd be in, but when I tried to log in at home, presumably my home ip address would kick in and the site wouldn't allow access?. Other than someone more technically minded than me, that could go through the motions of creating a new ip address at home, then I'd be OK. The ipform guy said that. But I have now accepted we have parted. |
