Abandon is what I have done. It is locked on a page showing me as on-line, with a message waiting to be read, but the "official" ip address banned words are on screen. There isn't an access route to re-register. If for example I went to the library, used their computer, re-joined with different user name and different email address, no doubt I'd be in, but when I tried to log in at home, presumably my home ip address would kick in and the site wouldn't allow access?. Other than someone more technically minded than me, that could go through the motions of creating a new ip address at home, then I'd be OK. The ipform guy said that. But I have now accepted we have parted. One way of getting back in that is dead easy to do is to download and burn a copy of Tails Linux then running it as a live session on your PC. distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=tailsDownload and instructions here: tails.boum.org/download/index.en.html ( you'll need a blank DVD to burn it on). When running it uses the Tor network so it hides your own IP number. Then enter the site you mentioned above and create a new ID with a different user name and email address. Finally, when you switch back to your own installed OS, delete the cookies relating to the site you're banned from, and any saved passwords . Then log on with your new ID. I wouldn't recommend installing Tails due to the threats from NSA and GCHQ who spy on those who use it - and those of us who suggest it - 'round objects' to them as Maggie Thatcher once said! (Actually whilst typing this reply the text has been lagging a bit so I know some nerd at one of the spy organisations is checking what I'm writing! Stupid pillocks!)

using tails is a great way to learn more about a bit more about surfing anonymously and using a live disk to experiment with but as you say, it can be frowned upon and some forums can get twitchy about any users posting from a tor browser. CA would autoblock posts from any user that they thought were tor users. and as for the members who had posts vetted, they didnt stand a chance of seeing anything they posted. but theres nothing wrong with trying

CA were easy to run rings around, as AC Troll /Doppleganger demonstrated.
