Shush Dinky...let Blair get on with it, he's the best recruiting officer that UKIP could have. All for free too.

Anyway...todays papers are interesting, Posh, Weird Ed and Milli have all taken a monstering, even the Guardian, that 'In house' lefty promo rag has had a pop at them. To be fair, the Express which started the campaign to get a referendum and is a Tory rag, has never been too nasty to UKIP, the rest of them are left wondering if perhaps that by rubbishing UKIP, they haven't also made the mistake that Posh Dave made when he insulted UKIP supporters. Oh yes...lots of very eggy faces around Fleet Street.

Yep, the more they "insult" us kippers. THE MORE THAT SUPPORT US! Dinky I'll only recognise the support UKIP has after the General Election. That's when supporters really count not in the present Mickey Mouse elections where the successful candidates have as much chance of influencing the Brussels power mongers as Pluto has of influencing Mickey. What exactly has UKIP won? Did they win enough seats to sway the Brussels Parliament or did the win enough council seats to be the rates setter for any given area. Of course not but what else did anybody expect. Even Farage thinks they did better than was thought but listening to our drinkers you'd think they all expect Nige to be PM in 2015. If it wasn't so laughable it would be tragic. All they have won is a recognition that when electing candidates the electorate are willing to give them a protest vote because they know that if elected there's not much they can do in domestic politics. If they can repeat last week's results in the next G. Election I'll stop drinking but I'm sure everyone knows that if they get 10 seats then God really is on their side

Peter, let's take it one step at a time. UKIP has won the attention of most of the electorate that bothered to vote. Plus they've won the attention of the other 3 parties who are now busy trying to work out what UKIP have that they are lacking. Plus UKIP and a few other EU countries have now got the Brussels hierarchy clenching their arse cheeks. Yep I think we (UKIP) can be pretty pleased with ourselves

Yep I think we (UKIP) can be pretty pleased with ourselves Arch I accept what you say and agree with most of it except it was the other parties giving their members a kick up the backside by electing members of UKIP knowing they were only token postions of power and could do no harm. Now that electing UKIP to worthless positions has put the wind up their own parties asses there's about as much hope of them repeating this pattern in a general election where we are actually voting for peeps who really do govern us in UK politics as Farage being humble about anything. In other words Hurrah for the UKIP but now it's job is done and it should be put out to graze

That's the spirit Smudger, a proper tory you are. Yup, I can confidently assume that you tory boys will blindly crash on regardless. "Oh ya Dave, it's just those lower order types sticking their tongues out at us, 'cos we've capped their damned benefits. Ya Dave, nothing to be concerned about, they will as always come to their senses and fall in behind their superiors once push comes to shove. Y'see, the great unwashed always have and always will fall in behind the officer class when it really matters"
"Ya, you're probably right Quentin, another glass of Bolly old chap?"

Yup, I can confidently assume that you tory boys will blindly crash on regardless. ratarse it helps in this topic if you actually watch the latest news and seen Cameron on camera claim the EU must reform to give power back to national parliaments. The ultimate aim of the Tory party and UKIP is diminishing the power of the EU Parliament. UKIP's way of doing that is to withdraw from the EU. Cameron's way of doing it is to neutralise the power of Brussels in each member countries own legislation. Farage's way is throwing the baby out with the dirty bath water whilst Cameron would rather save the bit's of the EU that work, the old Common Market etc, and leave Brussel's interference in member states national government locked up in a keyless dungeon. This way is easier to do and would not cost as much as individual member countries withdrawing from the EU. Why do you all think reforming the EU is not better than withdrawing from it and all the massive disruption that would entail. All you drinkers really want is the UK calling it's own laws and procedures, controlling it's own borders, seas and coastal waters. If this could happen without leaving the EU why then do you all want to leave?

Brilliant...right now on the beeb news channel, a couple of prats are reviewing tomorrows papers. They reckon that the press should just ignore UKIP, 'cos they are just 'scaremongering' over Europe and immigration. Apparently, we the electorate, don't really understand what's good for us! And some folks apparently, think that lefty liberal metropolitan commentariat are out of touch. Nooooooooooooooo!
