Nob the Access Denied problem is back and I haven't been using the reload button excessively. When I can't enter there's a line at the very top of the page " the Sqatter's arms, Proboards is using Cloudflare to restrict access. That is something you can throw at the bosses. I also found, although not the same error number,a useful page using google support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200171806-Error-1010-The-owner-of-this-website-has-banned-your-access-based-on-your-browser-s-signature I spent all of this morning trying to download the Squatters and even a restore didn't fix the problem this time. I left my PC on stand-by to have my lunch and when I woke it The Squatters came up when I clicked it. I also spent most of yesterday afternoon and early evening being unable to "talk" to my bestest friend. There seems to be no logical timing of these interruptions so where do we go from here? Nob I also tried The Squatters using Firefox and IE with the exact same result, Access Denied, as I was getting with Opera.

Peter you do know the owners Proboards are all Ukip supporters, so that's probably the reason why they only allow you on at certain times or days.

Peter try typing the address into the address bar don't use any saved favourite and see if that works. Apparently cloud flare checks IPs to stop DDoS attacks, if your not on a static IP reboot the router, your IP may be flagged as an IP that's been compromised. Are you still getting IP number as 50.117.41.204 in the message? That's not the IP your posting with so why your PC is sending that out to open proboards I don't know. But it comes from, myip.ms/view/ip_addresses/846539008/50.117.41.0_50.117.41.255Do you recognise that?

I has to larf does I! The log in name 'Smudger Smyth'...is about as welcome on most forums as a pork pie at a Bar Mitzvah. Yup....as soon as the forum softwear reads those frightening key strokes, every alarm bell starts ringing, the site goes into lockdown mode and the forum moderators are given the keys to the firearms cabinet! Of course, over here at the Squatters, who the hell is gonna notice one more raving lunatic among you lot? Anyway, it goes without saying, that me and Fletch are naturally very nice people with forgiving natures, added to which, we are are easily bribed and corrupted. Ain't that right Fletch?

Funny nob that San Jose is in that link. In I.E. I use speedtest.net occasionally and about 3 months ago it swapped my home location to San Jose in California I tried to reset bit but can't it just doesn't change but I never really worried about it since I rarely buse that speed tester. But the coincidence of the 2 San Jose might need looking at now. Any drinker know how to sort it or nob will the proboard bosses want to help? By the way just after I posted my previous message here I was denied access until about 15 mins ago

Peter go here and tell me what IP it says and where it says. Your posting IP of 216.172.138.74 says America. Your old IP was BT 86.175.66.111. That is your problem. Try this, start and type CMD in and open the command box, Once the command prompt is open type: “ipconfig /release” After the message is displayed, type: “ipconfig /renew” You will see your new IP address and other connection settings displayed it should be different to the above one. Then open IE and tools, internet options, connection tab, then LAN setup, is the auto box ticked?

Nob, Whilst I know nothing about these sorts of things, is it possible that Peter's machine has become part of a botnet ? If so, I've no idea how he would go about sorting it out, but it might point you experts in a direction.

The above link is not ideal for downloading Spybot but is ideal for downloading Reg Clean Pro. You have to scroll a fair way down to get the SpyBot download Anyway I installed SpyBot and ran a scan. It didn't appear to find anything strange. Maybe I should have updated it before the scan. I should have responded quicker but I have been denied Access from about 17:00hrs to 15 mins ago Thanks nob even I was beginning to think my PC had been hacked although there is nothing showing in my sent E-mail box but maybe they've a way of hiding that and I have had no undelivered mails returned but the sudden change of my IP address location points that something is amiss. Over the past 2 days I;ve had IP addresses based in San Jose, New York, Belfast London but nob the one in your finder link always stays in San Jose. Nob I've just run an updated SpyBot scan and it found 68 things so I deleted them all. All I have to do now is wait and see if anything is improved. If you know anything more I should be doing let me know.
