Peter have you got Cloudflare installed and if so get rid. You don't need to wipe the drive where's that come from.  Are you still getting the banned message. Nob a search of my HD could not find Cloudflare, or any prog using that name, so what next? Fortunately I've had no Access Denied problems for a couple of days or since the last time I told you about it. I suppose waiting to see does it happen again is the only answer. Ok Peter, Ive informed them you seem to be sorted now. Dave, IP: 50.117.41.204 isn't what Peter posts with so what happened and why his IP is showing that I aint a clue. |

Next time it does it Peter try IE and see if that's the same as Opera. Like I said your not banned from here or Proboards so its summat your end that's causing it, a firewall setting or some other software.

You aren't refreshing the page excessively are you? Proboards automatically restricts access to URLs that refresh too often. I found this out because of waiting minutes for the PM page to load. I found a work around was to keep refreshing the PM page- sometimes up to a down times or more and then I experienced access problems for a while. Just a thought...

Next time it does it Peter try IE and see if that's the same as Opera. Like I said your not banned from here or Proboards so its summat your end that's causing it, a firewall setting or some other software. nob when it doesn't gain access in Opera it won't download in either IE of FF at that same time. I don't know how to find my IP address but JJ says the banned one in the copied notice is not mine. If that is so how can they ban me using that address? |

Peter, go into the computers control panel, select network, find your router, right click the router then select properties. With BB your IP adress should be there. As with BB your IP is static,with dial up it changes each time.(I think). Hope this helps. |

Thanks Dinky and ratarse but I think Banjo has hit the nail on the head. I use refresh regularly to to find out if there are any new posts in an opened thread so I will now amend my habits and do it the long way. Thanks banjo Ratarse you can give that pint you have in the barrel for me to Banjo. |
