I neither agree with nor believe much of what David Cameron says. However, on the subject of a live, on air debate between him and Alex Salmond, he is absolutely right.
David Cameron has again refused to take part in a televised debate with Alex Salmond ahead of the referendum on Scottish independence. Speaking on the BBC's Andrew Marr Show, the prime minister said Mr Salmond was "losing the current argument and he wants to try and change the argument." He added: "This is not a debate between me and him. It is not a debate between the prime minister of the United Kingdom and the first minister of Scotland. "The debate should be between people in Scotland who want to stay, and people in Scotland who want to go."
Correct !
In a subsequent interview with BBC Scotland, Mr Salmond said the "vast majority" of people in Scotland and across the UK wanted to see a debate between the two political leaders.
Wrong !
Salmond's independence led ego trip is now in danger of being overtaken by his paranoia. How can our so-called First Minister be so badly out of touch with the people he is supposed to represent ?

As someone who once tried to intervene in a scrap between two brothers, I too can confirm that Posh Dave is absolutely correct to stay out of this, 'cos there's a strong possibility that both sides could on him! Ratty the sadder but wiser

Not being Scottish I shouldn't comment but like the majority of UK citizens, I suspect, I don't give a f*** what way the referendum vote goes. Does anybody living South of Hadrian's wall really give a damn.

Lets be fair Dave, even Smudger is probably entitled to an opinion, no matter how wrong it might be.

Oh and another think Posh got right was to insult the Poles. I didn't know they got child benefit for their sprogs in Poland if the man works here, that is so wrong.
