I've just watched a prog I recorded about people on benefits who want to become actors or models. Never paid a penny into the system and take out every chance they get. I just wish I could have pulled out of paying tax and stamp and taken medical insurance out all those years ago. Let them fend for themselves. nob I know you can be a bitter protester but I never had you down as a sore loser.

Actually, it was the following January when the licence ran out. The little Sony B&W portable is still up in the loft. You know it's odd, neither of us miss it and wouldn't give one any space. Also, the furniture faces itself rather than radially from the one-eyed monster, but when I sit in front of someone's tele, I'll watch anything. Even when they click through the channels. I guess it's a bit like you're never a non-smoker if you've given up, always an ex-smoker.

He's just one more of the rich smug bastards living off the backs of hard working people while preaching to them how they should live their lives. The 'Arts' and the 'Media' are full of such people, it's how they roll innit.

Guys, I am back. Apart from 2 weeks swanning round the Canaries being waited on hand and foot on a cruise liner. I have just had the month from hell! Just before we went we had to say goodnight to one of our beloved dogs, the when coming back I found that the computer was completely dead. Been 2 weeks trying to source a psu for it, in the end I bought a new one. So now trying to come to terms with just 2 dogs and struggling to get used to a new computer and new OS.

Been there twice dinks, it's a dark road mate. At least you have t'other two. Our place has been too quiet, too clean and too big at such times.
