Cant say Ive seen one in the wild, but all birds of prey are fascinating. I saw the red kites at Harewood flying about, then hear that farmers are shooting them.

The peregrines and other b.o.p. are slowly making a comeback. The situation began to improve when several years ago, ddt was banned from being used for pesticides. As the b.o.p. were top of the food chain, they obviously suffered the worst! On the quarry site where I shoot, there are two pairs of buzzards that are constantly overhead.I have been known to leave a dead rabbit for them!

The buzzard is very graceful in the way they just float into the air with so little effort,
They're two where I go shooting very peaceful just to watch them

I once had a pick-up at a falconry centre by Huntly and there were these gold eagle looking things on the ground about 3 foot away. They are MASSIVE,no wonder the place had them chained up.
