Happy Xmas All not been active here for a long time because my wife is very ill. Long time progressive cancer complicated by a December stroke. Hosp 20 miles away and presently carless. My eternal optimism has taken a severe kicking but who knows?

Thanks Steve, she's had a form of lung cancer for years but it was nearly "under control" then on Dec 5th a night time stroke left her conscious but in a different world. Now in hospital but they want her in a nursing home because they need the bed. She ain't going nowhere till I say so.  |

When my Nemesis went AWOL I lost the will to live so moved out of here but could not find a sucker like him in any other forum so gave up, mind you if he comes back, hopefully he is still capable, then hostilities may resume.
