And they'll keep on chucking cretinous clowns, dead donkeys, naked nuns and anything "else" that might stick because as ever, it's all about the acquisition, retention and exercising of power in the interests of ingrained ideologies. The other lot are no better, except that the last "proper" bunch of lefties who had a sniff of power are slipping from living memory, and that's not about to change anytime soon.
I watched the PMQT on the Toob when -Starmer was hurling Flak at La Truss. Her not unsurprising dodge response was to tout fresh legislation at Trade Unions because the tories' own Trurer act was apparently not draconian enough. You know- the headstrong upstarts comply with all the law, so we'll find a few more nails for the coffins? They must really loathe working class folks.
12-18 months from now they'll be trotting out the same tired old fear tactics and "economy safe in our hands" guff. Pfft as a noticeably absent drinking cohort was frequently given to exhort.

Just read Boris is going to stand, but he did say hasta luego on his final speech. Another Churchillian moment. 😁

Has the loaded Teflon winkle had his "First 100 days" yet? If so, just exactly what has he done? Apart from threatening yet more anti trades union legislation, nothing that I can see. Zilch. Silver lining and all that- doing nothing is actually a massive relief pursuant to the Truss~Kwarteng fiasco. If it wasn't so serious it'd be laughable. The Dunkirk dinghy flotilla is still in full swing and the home grown natives are both restless and revolting. The Brexit impasse in N.I. is still in place. I have a good friend who is an engineer at a revered local brewery. He has Covid and his employer has told him that he has to go in to work because according to government dictat we have to treat it as a common cold now. It really is pathetic and nobody should be under any illusion that K.S. will do any better, especially with the bottomless pit of penury the tories would leave behind. Merry Christmas everyone. ;<D
