Yep if you look in all the best. Greetings Nob ... and all my other old mates here who mentioned my birthday. It's a long time since I last contributed to ANY forums. Spitland has survived all the current trauma, and is much as it always was. Both our Daughter and Son have long-term partners, though Son has also bough a new house in Edinburgh to avoid daily commuting. Our kids still keep their Spitland bedrooms so we still have our family lives entwined. My beloved Mrs Spit continues to enrich my life; she still turns heads wherever we go. Our Son, along with Alan our gardener, and I had completed relaying some cobble-stones at our Lodge House (listed building) at the bottom of our long, winding access road. My Grandfather had rewired, replumbed, refurbished the old Lodge House. It cost a packet but has been very handy over the years. We were also visited by deer this winter ... a rare event. We also had Mrs Spit's parents being quarantined there to keep them from being exposed to other family members in England. Orrabest, Spit |
