It's a shame that you can't just tell windoze to leave some drivers alone. Deferring to a later date is not the answer. I'm thinking of my radio programming leads with fake Prolific chips here. I keep a Windows 7 box for a number of things that Redmond has/have shafted. You install the driver and at the next Windows update, the lead stops working. The Chinese are even faking the (better) FTDI chips now. What a world eh?
