I use F3 a lot when searching the registry. I have a great old IBM keyboard, but I don't use it because there's no Windows key and there's a number of shortcuts I do use with that. Those keyboards were awesome. For me, shortcuts are a leftover from work days enslaved to a laptop which was perched on top of an aircraft full cart, so a mouse was inconvenient. I was faster than my work colleagues even though I'm a two fingered typist at best. The shortcuts gave me the edge over them. Still, I don't know but 5% of them at the very most.
