Download for 'Update for Removal of Adobe Flash Player - KB 4577586' www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/kb4577586.htmlPlease note, as it says on MG website:KB4577586 is the Update for Removal of Adobe Flash Player available in Windows update early in 2021.
Update for Removal of Adobe Flash Player is for administrators to test their computers before Flash is removed. It is recommended you don't test or use this on work computers if you have programs that rely on Flash. It is best tested in a virtual machine.
As far as we know, Flash should be removed from Microsoft Edge in December of 2020 or January of 2012, and Adobe will stop distributing Flash on December 31st, 2020.
25 different versions are available depending on your operating system and build, so our download link goes directly to the Microsoft Update Catalog. Currently, only 1903 or later is supported.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Posters note: Personally, as far as I know, there are still apps and websites that still need Flash to work. Therefore, I'm only going to remove it when I'm absolutely certain I no longer need it (despite the vulnerabilities of Flash). You should be aware that once you apply that update (only an optional one at the moment), it is irreversible. Therefore, once you have, you won't be able to re-install Flash at a later time.

Did you get it suggested in Windows Update or did you use the Update Assistant nob? I used the Update Assistant on all three PCs because my Dell lappy was supposed to be non-compliant for 2004 and my banking lappy wouldn't go beyond 1909 anyway, compliant or otherwise.
As soon as I deployed the Update Assistant it all fell into place on all three PCs. I don't know what the point of WU is if it doesn't install updates. I am.aware that Redmond throttles updates on compatibility issues and I reckon to appirtion bandwidth too? Clearly there was nowt wrong with my Dell lappy and at least now the banking lappy is updated and that should make the bank happy.

Probably better to wait like you did, but with the banking lappy stuck at 1909 and still being told it was "up to date", you have to grab the demon by the horns in your own interest.
