I suspect that relying on a vaccine might just reveal the virus' ability to mutate and we'll just be forever trying to play catch up nob.
Lots of points raised in that article but better to be circumspect than blindly follow a new religion in my view? When I remember that three folk I know of have had Covid 19, one in her mid forties spent ages in an induced coma, and one at least that I know of has passed, I keep an open mind, which is kind of how I read your post nob?

Mates daughter was an ICU nurse in Donny royal, she went to another department and has been posted back to ICU because there are nurses off with C19. Montague hospital in Mexborough is practically full and Donny royal is well on the way to being full. South Yorks is going into tier 3, fortunately I'm just over the border but I expect we will be soon. A friends brother and father died of it, its a killer so Im taking no chances, the Mrs isn't either in school.

Those young people who had voluteered to test the vaccine one has just died, through being injected with the Covid 19 Virus.
So I'm not thinking of having it until it's been tested and tried for 2 yrs as per the usual precedure in testing vaccines
My daughter inlaw works at Lincoln County Hospital, she a Senior Senographer & my youngest son works in a food factory as an electrical engineer so they have both been working through this.
Their daughter my grandaughter who is 13 has also been at school all through this problem & we have her nearly 5 days a week that's including weekends.
So we are both hoping we will be OK all through this problem & I work at a Cancer Hopice charity shop one morning a week.

Oh joy! A new type of genetically based vaccine delivery has been announced that demonstrates 90% efficacy. Apparently the manufacturers have announced that they hope to shift 50,000,000 in the coming year? Our illustrious leaders have announced they've ordered 40,000,000? Since when did Old Blighty feature so prominently in a US/Deutsch collaboration's radar?
I wonder whether the extremist islamic world's disgust for the feelthy Western infidel will now melt away? Perhaps they'll rock up with a tail between the legs clutching a get-out-of jail-free-card for all the abominations inflicted on us at the behest of a few twisted clerics? Mucho sorry to all (and I mean ALL) the manifold peaceable Moslems, but it has to be said- you can't be allowed to cherry pick which Western trappings you'll allow to include Kalashnikovs, Toyota pickups and now vaccine in the name of some religious ideology, even if you are too terrified to speak out. That includes a Western conceived vaccine.
Perhaps you can though. Perhaps this should have been in Dave's YCNMTU thread?
