I have been having some problems with my Powerline adapter,Atm I am connecting direct to the router with a long lead from my desktop. and the result is great. However is an untidy feature on the stairs, and I feel I could be better off with a Wi Fi Dongle. Anybody recommend a good one ? Thank you

I have a CSL dongle I used on an old PC, Never had any problems, have a look on Amazon and read reviews. Plenty of them about.

Thank you Nob. It is just that I have no knowledge of how these things work, and there are quite a range of prices and speeds.Does a cheaap one work proportionately much worse than a more expensive item ? I do want a good result but I don't want to buy a Rolls when a 2CV does the same job

It might be better in the long run to future proof yourself for the extra £5
