Hmm. And when you dig deeper it will probably be the same old familiar dialogue boxes that you wind up configuring, just with the deckchairs moved around again. Truth is it doesn't really matter- far more important things to concern us, but is it necessary? Do I need to scratch my head again looking for the same dialogue boxes? Will it transform my user experience? Everyone keep up to speed with change now. You know it makes sense.

Another stupid idea from MS.
If it ain't broke why fix it, particularly as the previous fixes have reduced the options available. To be honest IMHO the Control Panel is simple and effective apart from the fact I know it backwards after 25 years. I dread its loss.
