For the past couple of days ever time I have been reading the posts in the thread were members have wished me a happy birthday I have been getting alerts from Bitdefender about this online threat.
Online Threat Prevention firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on a revoked certificate to www.gifsoflove.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since revoked certificates are usually fraudulently obtained or used.

As you can see, I have tried it in Google Chrome as well. Feature: Online Threat Prevention chrome.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on a revoked certificate to www.gifsoflove.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since revoked certificates are usually fraudulently obtained or used Just wondering if, as both browsers state that the squatters arms proboards .com is not secure ie. no https has any thing to do with it or if, and not being funny or pointing the finger at any one, if one of the posters in that thread had some sort of malware on their computer that is throwing up the link to gifsoflove

No problem if I stay on that thread. That link shows this, "Gif and animated images to share on WhatsApp". Is it the image your using.

Hi nob, I do not see any image, as I said, if I wait or scroll down the thread from top to bottom, I only see those Online Threat Prevention messages that thrown up by Bitdefender.

I should add that as it only happens in that thread, so to me, there is something aimed at me there that causes it happen as others are saying it does not happen when they are in it. As Bitdefender and Malwarebytes are not reporting anything during a scan, I will do a scan with HijackThis Portable in a bit as last week that found malware that neither Bitdefender or Malwarebytes found.

I have done a scan with HighjackThis, McAfee Stinger and Rogue Killer and non of them found anything on my laptop.

Maybe its one of the birthday Gifs causing your alarm. I can remove them and you can try if you like?

I wasn't even aware there was a portable version of HijackThis (I use some portable programs on a memory stick), so thank you for making me aware of that.
Nothing found though.
