Has anyone had problems with their PC mouse following the latest updates?
Ours is really playing up, although it's semi-usable. I've tried altering the settings (from Control Panel etc), both double-click speed and one-click setting, but I can't get it the same way as before.
It is a USB 2 mouse (we only have USB 2 ports), and it's one of those 'Human Interface Devices' with a scroll wheel (there was a PS/2 one that came with this PC). It's not that old either. Apparently, there's a HID service that's supposed to be set to Automatic - it wasn't even enabled, so I've changed the properties of that so it's Automatic now.
Certain things like drag and drop I can't seem to get it to do properly, I've tried all kind of combinations of settings. Things either open too quickly or too slowly, I can't seem to get a compromise at the moment.
It may be MS's fault, I'm not sure at the moment.

Not sure whether my problem started after an update or not but early last week my wireless mouse just froze. I tried another and that was the same. Fortunately I use a laptop so I was able to use the touchpad. A Google search said to uninstall and reinstall which I did but still both of them were frozen. I'm now using my wired mouse.
