Don't really know where to start with this but here goes. I'm stumped! Let me also say, that I have spent many hours trying to sort the problem, and been given lots of advice, none of which has worked. The problem For some months now I have had my desktop PC (Win 7) successfully connected up to my 32" LG television. Its been great, with no problems whatsoever. Today I switch on, and the first thing I notice is that it is going straight to the start up screen, no BIOS, without the option of putting it in Safe Mode. The whole display is much larger than normal. No problem I thought. Nip into Control Panel>Display> adjust resolution, and I note its set at 640x480. That's the problem, it's easy fixed. Well no..it's not, because the resolution is 'grayed out' and it won't let me change the setting? Someone suggested 'system restore'. Ive tried a system restore..no use. Someone suggested 'safe mode' and adjust the DPI display size. I cant put in safe mode, as it wont let me. Im buggered if I know what to do next. I have shouted at my wife and aimed a kicked at the dog (it missed) but that hasn't helped.Any thoughts?

Im always eternally grateful to The Squatters Arms, as without it, folks like me, who arent the most PC savvy, would be really stumped. The Squatters have got me out of few holes, and this one really had me tearing my hair out. Graphics card driver.Nothing more to say.
