Wow,Spit.Thanks for all the trouble you went thru with your post. Years ago when I was on Computeractive I would have given your options a try.With age and a slowdown in mental processes I just don't want all this hassle.Now if you had said "contact Microsoft" and they will fix it for you,I might have given it a go ! I remember a few years ago Adie,aka Laolitan,gave a cure for a problem to do with "shutting down".I wrote it out on an A4 and it took half a page !.But it worked as at that time I was better at the PC than I am now. I can do without EDGE and resurrecting my Favourites is not that much of a hassle.I can get by happily with AOL,Epic,and Chrome.I only used EDGE coz it was there ! At this time I am about to move to fibre on Tuesday,hoping that it too won't be a hassle too I have a life to live as well !!
