Hi Glenda
Phil asked the same question and I gave him the same answer but in a PM.

WoooooHooo...... Peter Junior, Whyfore aren't you as streetwise as you were then ? What happened to your streetwise-itivity, did you suffer a massive loss of catastrophic proportions that wiped out all your Street cred and love of jeans resting on your ar$e showing a tantalising glimpse of bum crack and Y fronts, did all your tat's wash off, did you graduate from weed to chrysanthemums, is your gangsta now Dope Yo !!!! Never mind, we all have to grow up eventually. Email duly sent off to Peter senior. Take care, G. xx Hi Glenda. Thanks for your suggestions for an avatar ! I have been away for a few days, but my main concern is with this photof*cket thing. John removing my profile thingy made no difference.I am still plastered all over.I have found an email from the site some time back which asks me to "sign up" to the new system. It does have a "unsubscribe" hyperlink at the bottom of it.I just want to know if this is the panacea

Hi Pierre, Do you men you're plastered........ (take more water with it.) Err I mean plastered allover the Squatters If you do I can't see anything relating to Photo*ucket on any of your posts. This link will tell you how to delete your account. In my case I get as far as the "tick to say you're not a robot" and it freezes and won't let me complete. Flippin frustrating !!! support.photobucket.com/hc/en-us/articles/200724654-How-do-I-Delete-my-Account-I've just tried the link and it takes you to Google. Click on the first link. G. P.S. My little leprechaun is fine.

Nothing has changed for me.Still Photof**ket is covering every heading on the left hand side of the pages.I also get the same image at the bottom of each of Dave's (Ratae)posts,so he too must be a sinner who has not been forgiven !

Hi Pierre All your posts and David's are not showing anything to do with Photobucket to me, everything looks how it should be.

Pierre junior, As I said in my earlier post I can't see anything relating to Photobucket on either yours or Rat's posts. Perhaps they're using you for free advertising. You ought to contact them and ask for a HUGE fee same as they're holding us to ransom for ? G.

Thanks John, and Glenda. I don't want to push this too far. When I am presented with the sign in screen, the whole green coloured screen of the "home"pages are clear of these Photof**ket images,as are the topics themselves.Once I sign in the yellow background pages are pasted the whole way down which covers all the avatars,or is it chessnmen. The the general headings are more "centred"to allow for the fairly big P/B page 500 images. The area which concern me about this is that is does blot out the "whose on line"whicch is completely blocked from view.I can get round this with the original green pages. I am fine once I get on to a topic pages,as,there are no hinderences--save on some of Dave's posts where the image appears at the bottom of his post. Maybe I am making too much of this,as I can still operate as normal, regardless of the distractions

May I ask................ Why do you need to contact PB They won't let you use their service unless you pay them a huge ransom, and if you've deleted your account, surely you'd have to open up a new one I now use imgur.com G.

It's possible to use a Chrome / Chromium or FireFox extension to get around this, but that does imply using a Gatesbox because mobile apps don't (yet) support extensions.
You can try right clicking the image and selecting "open in a new tab" which should make the image visible from where you can save the image(s) and host it or them elsewhere. Imgur seems to be the current favourite choice. I use Postimage.org. YMMV etc. Bank on anything implying a free lunch to be out to lunch just when you need it most.
Or, if the images are in your own post, you could edit the image URL by appending ~original to it, but I'm not sure whether Photophuckem have blocked that little trick by now. If it still works then you would be doing every other reader a good service but who has sufficient time left in their life?
Me? I'm not surprised at this situation, just resentful at the extreme charge being levied by PB. It makes ransomewhere look like a good deal.
e&oe...
