As a relative new drinker, I have to admit that I did not know Anne and in any case- so far as I'm aware there are (or were) two Annes on The Squatters so I would not want to confuse the two for obvious reasons.
But it is clear to me from the many many references to the birthday girl that she was special and everyone's favourite bar maid. A shame that I never received a fist full of wet change along with my pint, but wherever you are Anne, be assured that even a few of those whose lives you did not cross have thought of you on this day.

Just seen this, sorry Anne,we played Scrabble against each other for quite a few years, she was very witty and talented.I still have that app on FB and often think of her when I see it.One day we shall resume our close battles.She loved the Squatters and shared the views that most of us shared..God bless you dear Anne.
