As usual, we are hosting the Family Christmas Gathering in Spitland.

All our English relatives have travelled north and are now recovering from long car journeys in high winds. Our Scottish relatives arrive tomorrow.

We have a large house, so there's no problem accommodating what is likely to be over 50 folk.
To take the pressure off The Spits, our local family butcher and his family have volunteered again to do all our Christmas Dinner catering and then clear up the debris.
Daughter and Son are home from university in England for the festive season.

Our wine cellar is going to take a big hit, but everyone knows not to grab the bottles with large red tie-on labels.
