However, I suspect that her intentions may be signaled by who she picks to be in her 'Brexit' negotiating team. If she picks people like Gove, Leadsom, Redwood, Patel or the like, then she may be serious! bestest friend I think you're placing to much emphasis on the selected members of the negotiating team because none of them will be able to make a decision in their own right. The final say on the deals will lie with the Cabinet so who cares who's negotiating. This definitely isn't a case of the best negotiator winning the biggest prize.

Sorry nob and ratarse I can't see how who is on the negotiation team makes a damn bit of difference. May has said Brexit is Brexit and we are leaving the EU so how is any one negotiator going to get anything more of less than the EU is willing to offer and what the Cabinet decides to accept. This is no longer a bargaining game the UK is leaving so what do we really have to bargain with of for. There's no if you give us that we'll give you this sort of deal because like it or lump it the UK is jumping ship end of negotiations. Creating post-Brexit deals with EU countries is where negotiators will be needed but these cannot take place until we leave, how can we create deals with EU countries when we still are an EU country therefore they are not part of Brexit terms and conditions so who cares who negotiates these terms?

Since May was given the PM job as of last night 2000 new UKIP members. Boris is off to Brussels today that should be interesting.

Lets hope she does the same when Jezza gets voted in again. Why should she worry if Jezza get's voted in again? The labour party will just have shot itself in the foot that survived his last getting voted in and then Labour will be really immobile and no trouble to anyone.

Exactly. I thought you 2 were anti the EU and immigration so why you worry about Labour's demise puzzles me. The further they are from Government the happier I will be.
