Here it is folks, who d'yer think are the favourites to be the new occupant of number 10, once the Pickfords van has shipped the Posh fellas Saville Row suits back to his country mansion? At the moment, I'm leaning towards Liam Fox, aided and abetted by Gove. Lot's of folk think that BoJo is fave for the job, but to be honest, although I like BoJo, I'm not sure that I trust him and anyway, I ain't sure that the country is ready for another posh old Etonian Bullingdon Club PM. The suggestion that I do like, is the one where Nige gets a life peerage, (Baron Nige of the 'Duck and Dive' sounds good), and then is appointed special advisor to the Brexit team, he deserves no less. Disclaimer ...no Paddies were harmed during the making of this thread.

Who cares, as long as it is someone with a SPINE unlike the jellyfish that has resigned.

Who cares, as long as it is someone with a SPINE unlike the jellyfish that has resigned. Dinky not spineless I think. Who called the referendum to give the voting public a chance to have their say. He may regret it now but at least he had the guts to call it. Blair and Brown didn't have that did they?

S'only my opinion but I figure that he promised a referendum to garner votes from those that wanted out because he (like most everyone watching events) really didn't expect to become re-elected, certainly not with such a copper bottomed majority. Good ploy eh? Why else would he have gone about punting for remain after promising the get out of jail free card? If there is any truth at all in my fanciful notion, he will be reviled if this experiment goes all pear shaped.
Boom to bust in thirteen months!

Pffft...he called the referendum 'cos he wanted to shoot the UKip fox that he thought was threatening all of his Tory chickens. Turned out of course, that the fox was mostly gobbling up the labour chickens. Epic rickett.

Andrea Leadsom would be my choice. But Boris will smash it.
