Updates for Windows Vista

Has Microsoft stopped sending Updates for Vista.

The problem is on my old Vista laptop which I take on holiday with us just to play DVD's, but a notice came up saying Microsoft no longer supported Windows Updates for XP & Vista.
So I will get it out again it out again tonight and run through that list to see if any can get it to update Windows.

I've decided that my old Vista machine was getting slow and outdated so I've taken the plunge and gone over to the the dark side and got a refurbished Macbook Pro.Its just like a brand new one,all sealed in the box with any faulty,marked or damaged parts replaced.Comes with a full 12 month warranty.Never had any Apple products before so was a bit wary but its so easy to use and everything seems to integrate so easy,really impressed up to now with it.

If i ever need a new lappy i will get a Mac.

Its got an i5 intel processor,8GB ram but a small HD (128GB)which is an SSD drive(the computer starts in a few seconds).Can easily double the storage with a 128GB flash drive(seen one today for under £24).The quality of the machine is awesome.Its only got a 13.3" screen but the resolution is 2560 x 1600.
