I wonder if any of you use a website called www.streetlife.com ? Basically it is a National website geared towards you, the individual. Were you to go there, after joining you are requested to enter your postcode and that's it. The main Headings are:- Home Inbox Local Events My Conversations It is then a localised site for you with Headings thus:- *Activities & Social *Civic & Community *Classifieds *Crime & Safety *Give & Lend *Local Politics *Lost & Found *Recommendations I have found it to be informative and useful. For instance when someone offers to give something away, I have asked for it, then say, "oh, but I don't have transport", then someone else will offer to collect/deliver, (free). |

It's been on the go now for about 4 years around here. But do you use it? I'm on it all the time, just as soon as I hear about anything or see something new, I post it, as do others. |
