Did anyone else realise that you can't download iTunes updates unless you have Windows 7 or above.
(That's the message it came up with while trying to update it)

Is that cos your on Vista JJ, I tune player I'm assuming. The Mrs found a walkman lite and I used to take music on holiday with that, with smart phones it ain't needed anymore so the I tune software isn't used much.

Yes I'm on Vista Nob, Avast came up with an update for iTunes but when I tried to update it,the notice came up saying you need W7 and above, personally I can't see as it matters which system it runs on, but it obviously does to them.

When you click on Avast then on Scan it brings up a list of things you can Scan and one of those headings is Scan For Outdated Software

Hi David
I also use Secunia PSI, but Avast flashed the updates up so I updated by Avast this time, but which ever updater flashed it up you will still need W7 and above to be able to update iTunes.
