A lady near us has got a new Epson printer but as far as she's told me she can't get it to work with her Laptop or desktop whichever she's got, but she says it's in her bedroom if I want to go round to try to get it to work, but if it'a big problem I might have to have a few minutes relaxing on the bed to have a think how to tackle the problem. Anyhow back to the problem. I would imagine she will have a SuperHub or a Router to pick up a Wifi signal. Will she need to have inserted any disc from the Epson printer to download any drivers for it to be recognised. And any other helpful suggestions as to what will be needed and suggestions why it's not likely working As the only WiFi things I've got are my Mouse, Laptop and my iPad Air. Thanks for any help jj

My Epson WiFi came with a disc, it has drivers and software, IIR you can set the WiFi with the disc and printer connected to a PC but it can be done on the printer manually its in the setup, you need the network name and password. Make sure the router setting permit things to connect to it and there is no MAC filtering set.
Then you need to add it to the lappy and PC as a network printer, the easiest way would be to use the disc in the lappy and PC.

So she should have a USB cable to connect the printer to th PC. How will I know if the Router settings allow things to connect to it and the same with the no Mac Filtering set.
Sorry Nob for asking but the last question might be pretty obvious to you.

Sorry Nob for asking but the last question might be pretty obvious to you. It will be in the router setting but I will assume she hasn't set that up. So you should be ok JJ. She should have a USB cable, if not set it up manually.
