MS fixit is not available for Windows 8. Are you using a HDD or SSD, is it in IDE or AHCI ? You would get this with HDD more than SSD. Turning off all except Windows components and security, would be advantageous for your system. I mean who needs something like Skype starting up, when you can quite easily double-click at desktop for instance, and others. Kings3
