I was using a computer at work today (very unusual for me!) that runs Windows 7 and the Chrome browser.
Can someone advise me please, in Chrome is the search engine permanently locked to Google or can you change it if you wish?
I tried using Ixquick but it then refused to find what I asked it.

Yep, well you can on my Linux machine. 'Settings' > 'Search' > "Set which search engine is used when searching from the omnibox (address bar)" The choices I have are ... Google,DuckDuckGo, Yahoo and Bing

Same on this tablet so a PC will be the same. Settings accessed by the three dots top right.

Thanks. It must be an admin block then to prevent misuse.
