Its going to cost £1 trillion a year Steve the total tax revenue, but they are saying the rich will pay it.  Kid next door got a new BMW M4 EV, they go away in the petrol Skoda SUV they have, not as fast but has the range.  I see Ireland along with Holland have to cull cattle to save the planet. This Green agenda is another load of dangly bits some WEF idea these clowns have signed us up to. |

We live within a mile of the Low Emission Zone nob. Another piece of "Green" BS that has more to do with revenue than altruism. Every time we drive off, we must make sure it's away from "The Line" and the ubiquitous cameras, yet until recently our vehicle was compliant. Another example of hanging on to lucrative EU initiatives? It costs so much to keep The Bus on the road, yet that maggot mayor wants to swally up our locality too even though it's in Surrey's catchment. I do 6K a year in The Bus and BB does 4K a year in her Nissan, yet these faceless gits load us up the same as commercial drivers doing 80K plus a year, and they have the gall to say they are cleaning up the air by excluding our jalopies. Here's the rank stupidity of it- Surrey C.C. is having to spend ratepayers money challenging that scrawny little smug scrote in The High Court to prevent TFL from monetising Surrey's patch. YCNMTU. Mr. Kahn- disagree do you? Well come here and discuss it with me face to face but I will insist that YOU compensate ME for My loss vis-a-vis investment in vehicles, and I'll gently remind YOU that English law never used to be retrospective in this way. All YOU had to do was say no more new cars and allow natural wastage to take its toll, but no- you have to phuck up decent hard working folks. Sod off somewhere where we don't have to acknowledge you any more.
And- a BMW fancy electric car for a kid? Bollox to yer North-South divide. I've seen all the fancy SUVs, Audis, Mercs, Beemers and so on in addition to all the beautiful des-res whenever I go oop North. It's a bloody construct ably fueled by the modern phenomenon of social media. We have our own fair share of deprivation and high rise mistakes down here too. My £1300-ish a month wouldn't even fund a brandy new Wartburg or chingy chento.

Makes me marvel at how the likes of this eejit survived all the pollution over the decades, and it has to be acknowledged that my maternal grandad carked in 1962 from bronchitis, just missing out on the Clean Air Act. Best Beloved thought maybe do-as-you-likeys, but I said they would ruck between themselves but would not target disparate random members of the public. If drug related, it seems unlikely that they would pick out objectives roaming in random neighbourhood streets, and especially at that time of the morning- what would the chances be of all targets being out and about at that hour and even so, managing to go for all of them?
On balance, even though they're saying they don't suspect terrorism, to me it smacks of yet another hopelessly indoctrinated lone wolf allah addict on the rampage. I'm sure all will become apparent, and hopefully we can exclude the muzzies this time because the elephant in the room is getting to leave a familiar sour taste in the mouth.
