Hi, I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.3.1025 on my desktop PC, and if I don't use my PC for a day, the next time I switch it on, I get a message telling me the database is out of date.
I was under the impression that the databases were updated automatically...?
Is there a setting I have missed?
Thanks

Mine does that if I hibernate the PC, if I shut it down, it doesn't do it.

oops - Forgot to say I DO have the paid for version.
I have also had a delve into the settings: "Settings" "Automated scheduling" "Check for Updates" - "on reboot" which says it runs "on system start" Hopefully this means it will check each time the Computer starts. I'll wait and see.....

Have you tried altering the schedule to update every hour ?.

As Geoff says, set MBAM to check for updates every hour. Mine does, as there can be as many as 10 updates during the course of the day. Doing so will keep your real-time protection as up to date as is possible.

Have downloaded the new version, and set MBAM to update hourly...
We'll see how that works.
Thanks to all
