Hi
Sorry if this is wrong forum but seemed closest.
I have a number of electronic books with the file extension .mobi which I need to convert to either epub or pdf. There are a number of websites where I can do this. The difficulty is knowing whether they are OK. Has anyone converted mobi files and can recommend a convertor?

Calibre every time. It is a great offline program which will convert almost any format to any other. And it is free and updated very regularly.

+1 for Calibre too.
There's also "Cool Reader" which handles just about anything you can throw at it. This may be available for your intended platform and if so, it cuts out the need to convert anything. (It may even do conversions, I haven't checked.) I use it on Android.
And it's free!
