Yes it is expensive---seeing I bought an all in one HP @tesco for £27 in August.The replacement ink would cost more than the printer ! However if this becomes a trend and other manufacturers follow suit,competition will drive prices down. I don't use mine much.Printing out my visa account once a month,and my airline boarding passes two or three times a year
