I would reinstall it, maybe it was a coincidence it played up after you installed it.

I'd agree with reinstalling ie9. as its not long now before M$ starts dropping support for ie8

I have IE9 on the Vista Laptop but it ran into a problem that was the problem, but it's up and running again now Postman, the problem could have been the update.

Just one quickie The IE9 update you said to uninstall has arrived back as a new update.I have hidden it at present, but do you think that was the cause of the problem or should I re-install it Thanksjj You now know the procedure so update or not update is your choice. Personally I'd give it one more go but that's just being thran/Irish.
