Hi Gang Firefox home page has altered, I used to have msn news and sport, but they seem to have updated it to this preview.msn.com/en-gb/?FORM=MP11ZL&OCID=MP11ZL&AR=1I 've got the above link on my IE9 homepage on my Vista Laptop, but I just can't get it to load on Firefox for some reason, I've gone to Options - General Tab - Home Page and put the Link in the slot provided for it and clicked OK, but it doesn't seem to want to load. I'm using Windows Vista on my Laptop And no Cuba didn't send me with this problem before you ask. Thanks

JJ, I find that the simplest way is to navigate to the site you want for your homepage, once there, click on the 'tools' ..'options' ...'general' tab, then just click 'use current page' That's what I've always done!

Hi David
Thanks I've done that and put BBC home page on Firefox instead of MSN home page because it says they are removing it at the end of September actually they've changed it now that was one reason for swapping home pages as it didn't seem to have any sport on it
Thanks

I prefer when F/fox starts, it to show a blank page then I can go where I want.

In any browser, I set the homepage to Google advanced search page. Two reasons; first it is extremely low on bandwidth so I don't have to wait for loads of unwanted "content" to arrive in its own good time, and second- with the browser set to trash cookies on exit, it is an automatic check on whether my connection is OK. If Google's search page stutters when I fire up the browser, I know there's something wrong in seconds. Also, I can remember the url easily when configuring. Smartphone browsers don't seem to allow choosing one's own homepage though. :=(

I always have Yahoo UK as my homepage. It has a comprehensive sport section which I like, and anyway, as I have a Yahoo email addy, it shows immediately how many new emails I have and a one click link to open them! Suits me Sir!

Exactly the same here - a good home page imho too. I use Pale Moon as my browser and when I click on the link in jal`s posting it opens a most odd setup and tells me my browser is out of date. I know Pale Moon isn`t as up to date as FF but it is fast and secure and is version 24.7.2

John, When I said Pale Moon opened a most odd setup I meant when the MSN page opened from the link. It shows a series of photos with text against each down the left side of the page and the message at the very top, "You are using an outdated browser. Please upgrade to the latest version for the best MSN experience" at the top. Perhaps that is normal until the site is finalised. Clicking on an item then opens it as a normal window,

Hi Roger
Wait and see what the next update brings to see if it's any better than the last one
