Out for the day and on my return, turn on laptop, adblock has ceased, removed it, re-installed and now it's ok. I am wondering if it might make sence to remove ccleaner to enable adblock to function 24/7 and install ccleaner every month for it to carry out it's duty then remove it. Colin if I had half the problems you post here looking for solutions to I'd really worry if owning a computer was worth the bother. Colin I've had an online PC for 15 years and if I had as many queries as you've posted here, in the brief time you've been a member, I'd really worry if owning a PC was interfering with my mental stability but on the other hand you might be a lonely IT "operator" and feel posting loads of queries in an "expert" forum will solve your problems, not necessarily all of them IT based.

Mine doesn't work properly on the laptop, (Vista), but it doesn't bother me that much.

Version 2.6.4 is the latest one. Perhaps cuba should uninstall Adblock Plus from within the Extensions list (click on Remove) then download the latest version from addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/?src=ss

Just had a look at my CCleaner Ad Block is not showing. Nope, it doesn't show in my Ccleaner either, but then again, nor do any other of my FF addons. Why would they?

I've just been thinking about that, they are addons not actual applications.
