In my case, Spitfire was not available, so I became Tornado. Spit Surely the urge to become Hurricane should have superseded Tornado by a vast number of years.  Why it doesn't have to be the Panavia jet, hawker were building a Tornado to replace the Hurricane in WW2 but the engine let it down so it was scrapped. |

Hi Peter, You're right mate ... I didn't think about that until later, but it was too late.  Spitfire was already taken by an old poster at WU from the distant past. Egg noticed this and sent a PM to admin asking if Tornado could be changed to Spitfire. She's very fond of Spitfire, but I told her I was getting used to Tornado and just to leave it. Hope all is well with you old friend. Spit |

I shouldn't rush to get to the next one up Roger, as all Senior Member means is since your last grade you've got considerably older to get there. |

I was referring to you Glenda not the wooly Roy, Do I detect an insult ??   As Peter will tell you a banshee is Oirish, and I lost my tendency to cluck with the onset of the Menopause. Thank goodness I no longer have the hot flushes !  I'll forgive you this time egg |

Lots of people claim Irish descent,Roy.('cept,of course, Dave aka Ratae who ostensibly is of Roman origins) In the US of A it is endemic.I was speaking to an Indian wallah at a heritage stall at a mall in Miami a few years ago who claimed his GGG Grandfather was called O'Singh !  |
