Like most of you I suspect, I have tried various browsers over the years. Currently I have Chrome as my favourite. Reading forums as I do, it's surprising how many people advocate Pale Moon, so with a reliable link, I've installed it and am going through my favourite websites, just to see what if any difference there is. The first thing I noticed that THIS one needed attention, in that the page requres reducing in size to stop me having to scroll back and forth. But I'm damned if I can find the place where this can be done. In chrome when I view anything that needs attention, I click on the three bars at top right and drop down to zoom, + or - until it's correct, then that's it.
So if you're a Pale Moon user, what difference do you find compared with the other browsers and can you help me with the zoom thing please?
PS, Whoops, sorry, I've done it. I needed to show the navigation bar.

I have seen it mentioned a few times, haven't tried it though 'cos I'm a "if it ain't broke etc" man, and anyway FF ticks all my browser boxes. I do have the Chromium browser installed on my Linux machine though, because it WAS marginally faster than Linux FF. However since the Fox upgraded to the latest version, I can see no difference in the speed.

Is that a rhetorical question?

Whoops, echo's of spam here!. I'd better be careful. Back from town and entered via chrome to see if anyone can offer a solution to me not gaining access on PM.
This is the message I get when trying to log in on Pale Moon :- Oops, there was an error! Your login session key was invalid.

I am using pale Moon and find it faster then FF. This is written via Pale Moon. Have a read at www.palemoon.org/, especially the section, "This browser, even though close to Firefox in the way it works, offers a different set of features than its sibling. For example, if you need accessibility features or integration of Windows' parental controls, then Pale Moon may not be a good browser choice for you."

Thanks for trying to sort this out. When I installed PM this am, it brought with it all my chrome favorites. What I have had to do, is to sign in on all of them, no problem, that is until I came to this site and it gives the message: Oops, there was an error! Your login session key was invalid.- To be sure I had used the correct name/pw I came back here (chrome) logged out and in, this proved I was sing the right words. Reading your last paragraph but not the link, I took the installation link from a reliable source on another forum. I'm wondering now if I should re-install PM using your link? This was their link:- 1) What is the best and safest way to install the Pale Moon 32 bit browser and install the Flash Player, Adobe Reader, Silverlight and Bookmarks? Install Pale Moon from this link only www.palemoon.org/Use the Profile Migration tool to migrate your Firefox profile, which includes your home page, toolbars, passwords and bookmarks www.palemoon.org/migrationtool.shtmlBOTH browsers must be closed when you use the Migration tool. You must install Add-ons you want into Pale Moon by using Pale Moon to visit these links: Flash Player get.adobe.com/flashplayer/Silver Light www.microsoft.com/silverlight/WOT www.mywot.com/__________________

i used pale moon to sign in just now and all is fine. I just use it as a plan B, in case another browser fails, so its as is without any tweaking and I got mine from the same link as in, Rogermans. but the usual rule for downloading any software is to go to the makers, etc.

This is what a pm mod says:- A session key is usually a series of letters and numbers at the end of the URL for the bookmark. If it doesn't work by just going to the top URL for the board though, then something else is probably going on. I'm not intimately familiar with proboards, myself, so asking them is indeed a good idea.
I am going to clic on that link of rogermans and try again

An update. Using rogermans link, I went through installation procedure again. Where you are given two options, "Quick install" and "Advanced install", I selected the latter, as I'd used the former this morning. It has made no difference. When on Pale Moon, I have the squattersarms forum showing.
Welcome Guest, Log in and Register are waiting. I click on Log in and the page refreshes, and so it goes on. There must be a simple explanation. I have an idea, maybe I should use an alternative email address, Let me try.NO, I enetered a different email address but it wouldn't proceed when i entered cuba. I have to say that in all my years and of all the forums, I've never encountered a forum that cause so much hassle.
