Beautifully put.
Exactly. I suspect many people have been prejudiced by photos in the Nationals some time ago about the Latvians and others living in parks near posh London hotels. All they had were black bin liners carrying their possessions, wearing tatty clothing and some with walking sticks and zimmer frames, etc.. Now, you cannot tell me these were people who came here to work to help our society. No, they wanted to take advantage of our Social Security system.
campbell summed up the situation very succinctly imho.

Like I said, tag team. you two are obviously pals. Now go and play where you came from. Nope. Well, not that I know of. Clearly just two non racists in the wrong place ? There it is, 'twas just a matter of time wasn't it, as predictable as night follows day, the good old standby rascist card has been played. That guys, is why sod all was done about that those poor girls in Rotherham..... Fear of the rascist card being played. Cooooeeee.....breaking news, yer rascist card has been trumped by the 'it don't frighten people anymore' card. Fixed...

They haven't published my letter about the theft yet. By posting this, it might tempt fate and hopefully it will be in today.
I get letters published frequently and discovered the "art". If a letter is submitted Mon/Tue, the likelihood is, that it will appear on Saturday, something I try to avoid. I happen to know that our local paper has a poor circulation on Saturdays. They increase the cost of it to accommodate FREE TV guide!!! If that isn't Irish I don't know what is. By submitting Fri/Sat/Sun, it's a safer bet.

Remember me? I'm the guy that told you about the theft from the Charity Shop. In view of the fact that my letter hasn't appeared yet, I emailed the paper with an inquiry asking if there was any part of it that was inappropriate. They have just phoned me to say it will be in tomorrow. Whilst on, they thanked me for all my other contributions, which was nice.
